Due to lack of experience,many terran players lack the knowledge of when to expand their economy.What all beginners do is they wall themselves inside their main,using up limited resources and trying to reach high tier mechs and air units..This is not how you play the game.

Sure,big battles with massive armies are fun,but you want to be a smart player,and defeat your opponent thru map control and unit composition.

If you're walling off inside your main base and create the greatest fortress you can expect to constantly lose.Resources are modest in any mineral area or geysers ,so whilst you use your limited resources to turtle the entire game,your enemy who will be constantly growing can eliminate you simply by tossing endless waves of units at you.

The Way To Expand As A Terran
